About East West Catering
When I first decided to open a catering company on the beautiful
island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands, I thought it would
be wise to talk to both visitors and residents alike to find
out what they would like to see come to the island that would
be new and refreshing. While everyone agreed that it's wonderful
to have events catered in traditional style, soup to nuts, as
it were, they also expressed that theirs needs were somewhat
larger in scope than a traditional-style catering company could
ever cover. Visitors definitely want to spend most of their
time enjoying the islands and not in meal planning, shopping
and cooking. Full and part-time residents all thought it would
be great if they could just call me up and have entire meals
dropped off that are ready to either heat or plate and serve.
And then there's that special event where you want us to come
in and do everything. So that's just what I did. I created a
company with provisioning, gourmet take-out and traditional
catering to please visitors and residents alike, with a style
containing influences of both Asia and the Caribbean with a
little of the Mediterranean thrown in.
