Gypsea Girl is a 30 foot Grady-White Bimini 306 with twin 225hp Suzuki four-stroke outboards,
giving it speed, stability and lots of space.

Built in North Carolina, this model is the winner of the
The Best Designed Vessel of it's class 7 years running.

Gypsea Girl is equipped with a large T-top providing plenty of shade when you need it, a flying bridge with bimini for a great view while cruising and a front sun bed area for relaxing.

Gypsea Girl has room to hold up to 12 people comfortably. But we take a maximum of 6 people so everyone can really stretch out. Don't forget to bring your iPod.

Capt Mindy is that rare combination of someone who loves what they are doing and does it well. She arrived in the Virgin Islands (by sailboat) over 6 years ago and had been captaining various charter boats for the last 5. It was inevitable that she would one day own her own charter company and is thrilled that the day has finally arrived. Mindy's love of the area mixed with her deep appreciation and respect for the ocean and the sea life it contains is very  apparent upon spending the day with her as she guides you through the beauty of the Virgin Islands both above and below the surface.

Prior to captaining, Mindy was in the entertainment biz. She was a Radio City Music Hall Rockette and has also worked with the likes of Robert Redford and David Copperfield to name a few. She happily shares these stories and more with her charter guests.

"Let me introduce JC... he is one our new Captains for Big Blue Excursions. I have worked with JC for years and am delighted he is now part of our team! Capt JC is a gem and a perfect match to carry on the spirit of fun, professionalism and relaxation we always strived for." -Captain Mindy

Other FAQ:

1. What is the Cancellation Policy?
Let's face it. The weather is sometimes against us. The good thing about the Virgin Islands is that we have a pretty constant breeze. This means that showers are isolated and tend to last from 5 to 15 minutes. Nothing serious. But occasionally a system stalls over the VIs and it just rains. Or sometimes strong winds whip the sea-state into something less than friendly.
Since your comfort and enjoyment are our primary concern, we don't want you to feel forced into something that may make you miserable.
Give us a call first, and we'll give your our opinion of what the day will be like. Rain or shine we'd love to show you a fantastic day. But the final decision will be yours. You won't be charged for last minute weather cancellations.

The Times:
Full Day trips leave at 8:30am
